Age-related conditions

An aging-associated disease (commonly termed age-related disease, ARD) is a disease that is most often seen with increasing frequency with increasing biological ageing. Examples of aging-associated diseases are atherosclerosis and cardiovascular disease, cancer, arthritis, cataracts, osteoporosis, type 2 diabetes, hypertension and Alzheimer’s disease.

All these diseases and age related conditions among elderly can be managed successful if there’s proper care and management. And this can only be done by Golden Touch Personal Care Agency.

Physical disability support services

This covers age-related conditions among the elderly. Having a physical disability should not prevent the elderly from engaging in their daily activities and living an active life. Enjoying a life that is purposeful and meaningful is equally important to us all.

Post-Surgery Support

It is true that the elderly often have more health problems than younger patients and they may have a greater need for surgery. The older patient will have a longer recovery time than a younger patient and is expected to have more complications. In short, the elderly surgery patient will require more support than a younger one, from both professional healthcare providers and other individuals in their family and social circles.

Recovering from surgery can be stressful, especially once you’ve left the hospital. It’s not uncommon for people to spend most of their recovery period at home. That’s why you should have a good compassionate team of people around to help.
